I originally created this illustration of Kamala Harris the weekend after the 2020 election in preparation for my daughter’s 1st birthday. We couldn’t have many guests at her party so I created life size cut outs of powerful women to fill seats!
Since then, this image of Vice President Kamala Harris has become beloved amongst my social media following. On the morning of January 20, 2020 I paired these words with my sketch and the rest is history.
Her strength, vision and grit calls to us from this humble sketch.
