Over decades of teaching watercolor, I always recommend two water containers. One for rinsing brushes and one for soaking up clean water to paint with. As artists we fight constant distraction, so changing our paint water several times a day or even an hour can be just that...another distraction.
And so the double well watercolor painter's pot was born!
I paint everyday for at least several hours and I change my water only every 3 days or so.

LOVE It!
This is a little bigger than I was expecting which is a great surprise. I've been patiently waiting for these beauties to restock and finally got my hands on one! Such a beautiful piece and just what I wanted. Nothing like it available anywhere else that I have seen. Thank you!!

I saw this pot and I said yes, its exactly what i was looking for...i do not paint though...but it is what i was looking and i got it. Beautiful, I displayed it on our library shelf like the piece of art it is for me! Love it. Someday I will may learn how to paint. Did I say that I love it? I do love it.

I love this thing with my whole heart. Do you *need* it? Technically no. Does it make me excited to paint and do I sit down and paint far more often than I otherwise would because I have a fun, pretty water pot? Absolutely! I love seeing it sitting on my table and I love using it. If your 2021 needs to get a little cheerier, I highly recommend this purchase.
Best water pot ever
Okay, I saw this and said yes, this is what I have been looking for. I wanted to buy local so I went to a local ceramics shop and tried to get someone to make me one. No luck. So I ordered one from Kristy. Job done. Best waterpot in the world for my watercolor painting. This is such a great idea, and I am so glad it is not plastic. I am sure mine is individual to me and in time it will come to be a mainstay in my shop. If you can get your hands on one, grab it, you will not regret it. Love mine. Thanks for making these available to us. These would be the most appreciated gift for watercolorists at any skill level or type of watercolor painting.
