Here I’m using these sweet little pads from one of my faves @legionpaper.

I painted an opaque background with gouache last week and never did anything with it.

So today when I didn’t want to paint really I was like…but wait, let me put something on top of that little background. I know I’ll feel better after a few minutes of brushstrokes.

And I was right. I indeed felt awesome.

Using my liner brush and 1/8inch dagger from my brush sets linked in bio and my art for Joy’s sake palette too!

- Use one brush and change the petal width, shape and color intensity simply by varying the pressure applied to your brush!

Here I’m using my Cat’s Tongue brush from the Art for Joy’s Sake Brush collection! And of course my Art for Joy’s Sake palette!

1. Masstone paint application blended out to sheer will give you a sense of wet on dry capabilities and wet on wet too if you add additional color to the wet swatch

2. Lifting paint after dry to touch (staining quality)

3. Apply masstone stripe over a black mark to test opacity
