SO. Much. Fun!!
A while back I bought a watercolor book all about creating patterns. It was a really difficult concept for me and my quirky brain to catch on to. I did not expect the tile coloring booklet to help me out here, but it did! Where the patterns for the tiles go right off the page, it helped my brain understand the concept of the pattern booklet, believe it or not. I guess I needed to practice a pattern that extended beyond the page, already done for me, and it all clicked. You never know when or how someone else’s inspiration is going to help your own creative process. Also this tile booklet really helped me understand that I could make my patterns more intricate and they are SUPPOSED to look like they go beyond the page. Thank you Kristy! Plus my friends, these are so beautiful and fun and really helps if you enjoy repetition, intricacy and patterns in your paintings (I do).
